DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is a highly technical position requiring a working knowledge of accounting principles and the workflow of invoices through the system to render payment most efficiently to Commonwealth vendors or grantees. Under general direction from a Financial Transaction Analyst 2, an Invoice Processor performs a review of purchasing orders-based and/or non-purchasing orders-based invoices. The incumbent ensures compliance with all rules and regulations as prescribed by the Governor, Executive Board, Office of Budget and Administration, Secretary of General Services, and the Legislature.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours/week. Work Hours will range from 7:30am - 5:00pm - (candidate may decide schedule) Telework: You may be expected to work from home (telework) full-time, with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements.  Please keep in mind that while this is a full-time telework position, that can change at any time at the Governor's discretion. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or An Associate Degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits of accounting.
