DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled vocations including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, carpentry, and painting to ensure the overall upkeep and safety of the NWOB and surrounding grounds. Some specific duties include electrical circuit and light installation, interior and exterior painting, installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures, and moving, assembling, and installing furniture and equipment. It is essential to maintain occupational hazards and safety precautions during all aspects of building maintenance, in addition to remaining in compliance with agency standards and safety regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Necessary Special Requirement: You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
