DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will contribute to our mission of ensuring safe and effective delivery of medical marijuana to patients with serious conditions. Your responsibilities will include enhancing high-quality research by assisting in the development of compliance processes and policies and overseeing field inspectors who handle inspections and investigations of medical marijuana dispensaries, grower processors, and clinical registrants. You will manage staff in providing information and clarification on policies, regulations, and application processes to Medical Marijuana Organizations (MMOs). Additionally, you will assign and review the work of field inspectors, assess their performance, interpret labor agreements, address complaints or grievances, and foster their professional development. You will also identify training needs, develop training programs and materials with the Product & Delivery Management Leader, and arrange formal training as per program policies. Your role involves participating in operational and pre-operational inspections of new constructions and facility openings, reviewing MMO applications for facility alterations, and providing input to the Chief Facility Compliance Officer (CFCO). Under the CFCO's guidance, you will conduct operational inspections and approve alterations. You will also liaise with architects, engineers, local zoning officials, and other relevant entities to discuss compliance needs and offer technical guidance as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Safety Inspector; or Two years of experience inspecting commercial, industrial, healthcare or other buildings, structures, machines, apparatus, devices or equipment for compliance with applicable safety codes and regulations; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Conditions of Employment: This position requires possession of a valid PA Class C Driver's License.
