Position Purpose

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Mt Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position a broad opportunity for all aspects of Speech Language Pathology in a neuro specialized department including cognition, swallowing and language. Primarily treating brain injury and stroke as well as tracheostomy management and MBS training opportunities.

You Will Be Responsible For:

performing evaluations and provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with a wide variety of communication and swallowing disabilities.

direct patient treatment, and documentation.

Identifies appropriate long- and short-term goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals.

Provides education and counseling to clients, families, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Licensure: SLP CT license.
