Role Overview:

Be the primary contact to support the project users for the enterprise procurement software. Coordinate with Global Business Unit (GBU) Product Specialists and Procurement System’s core team to ensure seamless working of system across all modules. Necessary to have excellent oral and written communication skills and in addition, be reliable and flexible to respond to the changing needs of the Project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports procurement software implementation at the project-level

  • Dual-hatted as “Super User” and Functional role (handles packages in discussion with Supply Chain manager)

  • “First stop” in the assistance/escalation process

  • Orients new employees, answers questions, assists users, and facilitates system access requests

  • Coordinates with GBU Product Specialists for system-related issues

  • Assists GBU Product Specialists with training delivery and requirements

  • Provide timely and accurate information to supply chain management

  • Resolve user issues with respect to usage of procurement software

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science /BE/B Tech. in Computer science from an accredited university plus 4 years of professional related experience

  • Ability to analyze data using Excel/Power BI/SQL

  • Prepare visualization to represent data in succinct and insightful reports

  • Working knowledge for RDBMS and ability to prepare SQL queries

  • Preparation of work flow diagrams and system specification documents

  • At least 12 months experience of supporting/working in different modules of Oracle EBS.

  • Understanding the integrations between Oracle EBS and other tools such as Aconex, Unifier, AGILE, ENPI and M3S.

  • Working knowledge of Engineering/Construction industry supply chain practices and Bechtel policies, procedures, and work processes.

  • Knowledge of raising and following up a JIRA ticket is desirable.

  • Strong planning, prioritization and organization skills.

  • A customer-service-oriented individual with a demonstrated professional demeanor and communication style.

  • Awareness of Supply Chain processes and procedures (for internal candidates)

  • Good in written and spoken communication

  • Experience with basic troubleshooting techniques
