Job Description Quality Inspector wanted!
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for various industries including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. The role includes tack welding, assembling exhausts, and performing custom and production-style MIG welding. The ability to read blueprints and weld symbols is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections on MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems.
Approve the tack welding and assembly of exhaust systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
Review fabrication work.
Perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop to facilitate learning and growth within the company.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in quality inspections and sheet metal quality inspection.
Experience with metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
Knowledge of plasma cutting, MIG welding, TIG welding, and wire feed welding.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
