| full-time and will have options | |
| for weekend work. The Direct | |
| Support Professional plays a | |
| vital role in providing | |
| assistance with daily activities, | |
| accompanying consumers on outings | |
| in the community, and supporting | |
| treatment plans in partnership | |
| with clinical staff to enhance | |
| the quality of life for those we | |
| support. | |

| Requirements: | |

| - High School Diploma or | |
| equivalent required | |
| - Valid Mississippi Driver's | |
| License with satisfactory | |
| driving record (no moving | |
| violations within 3 years) | |
| - Must be able to obtain Class | |
| D license within 30 days of | |
| hire | |
| - Must maintain auto liability | |
| limits of | |
| 100,000/300,000/50,000 | |
| - Will pass CPR, MANDT, and | |
| other required testing | |
| - Experience working with the | |
| IDD population preferred | |
| - Experience assisting others | |
| with ADLs preferred | |

| Responsibilities: | |

| - Act as models for appropriate | |
| behavior. | |
| - May provide transportation to | |
| and from facilities and to | |
| and from activities in the | |
| community. | |
| - Performs other work-oriented | |
| tasks as assigned by | |
| supervisor. | |
| - Responsible for training | |
| participants in skills and | |
| conduct daily activities, | |
| training, and documentation | |
| for IDD day programs. | |
| - Will eat lunch on site with | |
| participants and take breaks | |
| on site. | |
| - Will help individuals learn | |
| skills for daily living | |
| appropriate to a home | |
| environment and will use | |
| pragmatic training techniques | |
| to develop these skills. | |
| - Demonstrates the importance | |
| of community involvement, | |
| social interactions, and | |
| maintaining relationships. | |
