The Distribution Operations Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments, or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.
This position is an integral part of the distribution team and is located in Hebron, KY, and will be an onsite role. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Communicate values, strategies, and objectives to the team
Identify, develop, and execute strategic projects to improve customer experience and operational efficiency and ensure these projects are completed on time and within budget
Manage all distribution activities with a Supervisory staff to ensure assignments and daily objectives are met on or ahead of schedule by ensuring operation is adequately staffed and properly trained
Ensure compliance with applicable agencies, including FAA, IMDG, IATA, FDA, and DOT
Cultivate a culture that utilizes Lean principles & methods to drive productivity & eliminate waste
Identify distribution issues or problems and develop and implement corrective actions to address root causes
Take ownership of all Key Performance Indicators and work with sub-teams to empower and improve distribution processes to ensure goals are achieved.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years experience OR Master’s Degree with 7+ years experience.
Operations leadership with experience leading other leaders
Continuous improvement experience (Six Sigma, LEAN, Toyota, etc.)
