The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Technology Services Division,Project Management Bureau. Job Overview: This position provides project management through all phases of a project life cycle: planning, execution, monitoring and control and closure activities. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, both internally and with external vendors or third parties, through meetings and progress measurement activities to ensure successful project completion on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to critical business activities. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * · Knowledge of project definition and scoping; requirements definition; identification of key objectives, risks, and drivers; creating plans to manage those elements; and user non-user acceptance testing. · Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and practices as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). · Ability to adapt and respond to environment and priorities, while managing varying deadlines and multiple projects. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in computer science business administration, public administration, or a related field. o Three or more years job-related experience leading projects through all phases of a project life cycle, including system design, development, implementation, and process re-engineering. o Experience with MS Project or other project management tools preferred (Jira, Daptiv, etc.). o Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired. * * How to Apply To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
