Stanley Black and Decker Business Care Partner (Customer Service) in Hellaby, United Kingdom

Location: Hybrid in Hellaby / Rotherham . Average 1 day/week office presence + when required. More office presence needed during onboarding.

Purpose

The aim of the Business Care Team is to deliver Industry Leading Customer Service & build excellent working relationships with our customers providing professional and consistent Customer Support. Division: Tools.

The Job (responsibilities):

  • Respond to customer communication from both internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner

  • Work within tight SLA's

  • Process orders and credits on time and accurately

  • Consult with Distribution Centers and Carriers to resolve issues

  • Use product and process knowledge to resolve relevant issues

  • Continuously working to improve levels of service tailored to individual customers

  • Communicate internally with all relevant sections of the business

  • Make decisions within business parameters to fulfil customer requirements

  • Maintain filing and record systems

  • Contribute to team KPI's

  • Achieves individual performance objectives

  • Maintain accuracy and visibility of all data relating to customers

  • Build relationships with customers within area of responsibility

The Person (requirements):

  • Min. 1-2 years customer service experience (required)

  • Passionate to deliver great Customer Service

  • GCSE English and Maths minimum grade C, or equivalent

  • IT skills, Microsoft Office, with accurate data entry skills

  • Analytic skills with a good working knowledge of MS Excel (desirable)

  • SAP experience (desirable)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to all levels

  • Team player with excellent time management skills

  • Problem solving and methodical thinking

  • Ability to prioritize, manage workload and multitask

  • Driver's license (required), to have ability to drive to external events (occasional travel)
