As a Journeyman Electrician Service Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support an electrical service company throughout the Hempstead, TX, and surrounding area. This company does both residential and commercial jobs and can come with some great perks too.
Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $28 - $30 / hour

Responsibility:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hrs/day, 7:00 am start.
Occasional OT, Saturday as needed.
Report to home office in Hempstead daily .
Review job orders and asses the job for materials and equipment needed.
Communicate with the customer any concerns, confirm pay, and job to be completed.
Swap fixtures, bulbs, fuses, and breaker box repairs .
Operate a tablet and use software for orders and ordering parts and materials.
Troubleshoot problems to find the source and make repairs as needed.
Build a relationship with customers through excellent customer service skills.
Maintain knowledge of NEC Codes and apply them to daily tasks.
Perform tenant turn-over repairs and installs on multi-family units.
Follow all work orders for the day which require the ability to work independently.
Complete all jobs as safely as possible per OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years of age
Current Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license
Ability to take rotating ?on-call? shifts for emergencies.
Ability to report to home office in Hempstead, TX daily.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience running wire for commercial and residential for 1 ½ year each, 3 years total.
Must be tech savvy and be able to operate a tablet and/or app for work orders.
Must have good driving record as position comes with a company truck and fuel card.
Position does require a drug screen
Position does require a background check and MVR
