As the "face of Airgas", the Bulk Delivery Driver is responsible for
safely and efficiently transporting bulk liquid gases between pick up
terminals and customers, both internal and external. This position safely
loads, delivers, unloads and returns using a company provided truck. This
position fills pressurized bulk liquid gases at the customer's location
while interacting with Airgas customers and Airgas associates.
As a Bulk Delivery Driver at Airgas, you will be a part of a professional

fleet. Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly
technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology,
latest camera technology and GPS navigation.
Position Title: BULK DRIVER
Location: Henderson, CO
Monday - Friday
In particular, you will:
Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport bulk gases to
and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties:
Drives bulk delivery truck in order to deliver product to customer storage
sites. Responsible for proper and safe operation of trailer delivery manifold
and storage site controls and systems.
Works with customers on maintaining proper storage temperature and pressure
levels.
Communicates in person with customers, providing information ordering and
delivery times, etc.
Operates equipment on vehicle to safely load, unload, or disperse cargo.
Prepares customer's delivery ticket specific to the product delivered and
obtains customer signature
Keeps record of materials and products transported.
Accurately maintains records such as Department of Transportation Driver's
Log and vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according
to state and federal regulations.
Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documents deficiencies and
all equipment is in safe and good working order.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery
instructions.
Reads maps and follows written and verbal geographic directions.
May perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing
light bulbs, etc.
May also serve as a driver trainer.
Other duties may be assigned.__Are you a MATCH?
Class A CDL driver's license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
Minimum of 2 years Class A driving experience with 1 year of Tanker driving
experience within the last 5 years.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Current Medical Examiner's Card.
Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater
than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary.
Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 10 hours; frequent bending
is also required.

Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different
personalities and backgrounds.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10 to 110.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
