US Citizenship is required. Candidate must be local to the National Capital Region and able to work onsite 3 - 4 days a week.

HOW A COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

● Participates in the development, revision, and delivery of internal and external communications materials

● Works closely with program managers, engineers, leaders, and proposal teams to identify opportunities to strengthen messaging and communication campaigns.

● Identifies inconsistencies in communications and proposes opportunities to improve and ensure messages are received.

● Works as an advisor and coach to influence the development of our communications materials and deliverables and improve quality over time.

● Provides clear and actionable recommendations for improvements and modifications to existing communication strategies.

● Leverages personal and professional experience to help translate key messages, ensuring they are received by constituents and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

● Required Experience: 4+ years of related experience supporting senior managers or officials.

● Required Technical Skills: Microsoft office products and common business communication platforms.

● Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain a TS clearance

● Required Skills and Abilities: Collaboration, problem solving, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

● Location: Falls Church and Herndon, VA, Hybrid.

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
