This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation allowance (if eligible).

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Our growing Radiology team is seeking a Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) to provide primary radiology health care under the direct supervision and oversight of the attending radiologists. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Engages in diagnostic fluoroscopic studies (UGIS, SBFT, BE, VCUG, Esophagrams, Modified Swallow Studies, etc.)

Performs fluoroscopically guided invasive procedures (LPs, arthrograms, diagnostic and/or therapeutic joint injections, etc.)

Exercises autonomy in decision making with regards to patient assessment, patient management and in providing a broad range of radiology diagnostic and interventional services

Assesses and evaluates the physiologic and psychological responsiveness of each patient

Obtain verbal patient consent for procedures

Performs specialized imaging procedures under the supervision of a certified radiologist

Issues critical results dictated by the attending radiologist to referring provider

Performs other work-related duties as assigned or requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters degree in a Radiology Assistant Program from an accredited institution required

ARRT Certification required

ACLS and BLS certification required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Registered/Licensed as a Registered Radiologist Assistant

Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills preferred
