Position Summary: The Warehouse Shift Manager will oversee our night shift operations, plan and manage a team of operatives to achieve daily workload to pre-determined productivity and service level targets . In this role, you will be responsible for managing the nightly activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and smooth operations. You will lead a dedicated team, optimizing workflows, maintaining high standards of productivity, and ensuring that all safety and quality standards are met.

Major duties & responsibilities:
Communication
To ensure daily briefings to team on daily requirements and to regularly update the team on logistics performance issues
Hold daily briefings – providing a format for an open 2 way form of communication between staff and shift management
Complete Daily Shift Management Reports for review with Assistant Operations Managers
Implement robust feedback process to relevant internal customers, i.e. customer services, field managers etc.
Following best practice incident management processes, including problem management where appropriate
Work with our global vulnerability team to remediate vulnerabilities in our infrastructure

Qualifications
Requirements:
Solid understanding of distributed systems infrastructure components and architectures including those supporting telecommunications, network, security, servers, databases, and software
Real world support experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
Solid understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies
Experience working with managed service providers and partners, and managing them through investigations and changes to ensure they are delivering to agreed SLAs/project timelines
