Primary Responsibilities:\
Review and interpret detailed design blueprints and specifications to
understand the requirements for custom trailer fabrication.\
Select appropriate sheet metal materials based on project
specifications, considering factors such as strength, durability, and
cost-effectiveness.\
Utilize cutting tools such as shears, plasma cutters, and CNC machines
to accurately cut and shape sheet metal according to design
specifications.\
Employ various forming and bending techniques, including press brakes
and rollers, to shape sheet metal components into the desired
configurations.\
Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated components to verify
dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and adherence to quality
standards.\
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies encountered during
the fabrication process, implementing corrective measures as necessary
to maintain quality and efficiency.\
Perform routine maintenance tasks on fabrication equipment to ensure
optimal performance and safety standards are met.\
Collaborate closely with design engineers, production managers, and
other team members to communicate progress, address concerns, and ensure
timely completion of projects.\
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of
accidents or injuries in the fabrication workshop.\
All other duties, as assigned.
