Job Title: Hand Filer
Job Description
Working in one of the final stages of the manufacturing process. Hand filing finished ceramic pieces used in the semiconductor field. The work environment is very quiet for a production setting. Relevant experience is preferred; cultural fit is very important. The ideal candidate should be coachable and flexible.
Hard Skills
Grind parts with high-speed air grinder to specification
Carefully form a radius on the edge of teeth as per requirements
File teeth using diamond files
Clean products and visually inspect for any imperfections
Review and understand drawings for customer requirements
Assist machine operators with machine maintenance and cleaning
Adhere to functional procedures in a consistent manner
Identify improvements to the procedures

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Work Environment
Both the work and filing departments are very quiet and calm environments in a semi-clean room. Always wear gloves when handling products and safety glasses while hand filing or grinding boat-teeth. The job operates on a Monday - Friday schedule with two shifts available: Swing (2:15 pm - 10:45 pm) and Day (6 am - 2:30 pm).
