Newell Brands is searching for a Post-Production Manager to join our Studio Creative team and support a diverse portfolio of iconic consumer goods brands including Marmot, Coleman, Graco, Baby Jogger, Crock-Pot, Calphalon, Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Elmer’s, Yankee Candle, and more.

As a Post-Production Manager with 5+ years of experience, you'll play a pivotal role in creating content, and maintaining the excellence and consistency of our visual materials. Joining our dynamic team, you will manipulate, compile, and review a diverse array of content, including videos, photography, animations, and video. Your meticulous attention to detail will be instrumental in catching any errors or inconsistencies, ensuring our content is of the highest quality and professionalism.

In this pivotal role as a Post Production Manager, you'll collaborate closely with photo/image editors, renderers, photographers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly bridge the creative and technical aspects of post-production. Your mission is to ensure the final product is delivered successfully true to the creative vision, on schedule, and within budgetary constraints. Your deep expertise in using industry-standard software and implementing rigorous quality control processes will be instrumental in creating and maintaining consistency across our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership and Hands-On Work: Lead by example by actively participating in the post-production process alongside the team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and creativity.

  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end post-production process, from conceptualization to final delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet business expectations and project objectives.

  • Business Team Collaboration: Work closely with Business Teams, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide creative solutions, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the production process.

  • Team Management: Manage, mentor & coach team members. Regularly conducts employee reviews and personal development plansfor ateam of post-production creatives, including editors, visual effects artists, and animators, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment conducive to creativity and innovation.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control processes, reviewing and approving all outgoing content to ensure it meets our standards of excellence and exceeds client expectations.

  • Training and Development: Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth, while also fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and software, to optimize workflow efficiency and meet project demands while staying within budgetary constraints.

  • Technology Integration: Stay informed about advancements in post-production technology and software, identifying opportunities to enhance our capabilities, streamline our workflow, and maintain our competitive edge in the industry.

  • Performs other tasks as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual digital Effects, Digital Filmmaking, Media Production, Animation & Visual Effects, or related field (preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in post-production, with proven expertise in editing, visual effects, and animation

  • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges.

  • Ability to operate independently given direction and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised.

  • Strong passion for both speed and simplicity

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Interpersonal savvy: an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies.

  • Detail-oriented and operationally focused

  • Strong organizing skills

  • Strong capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously.

  • Experience working in a media consultancy, visual effects studio, entertainment industry, consumer durables industry, strongly preferred.
