What you'll do...

Walmart's Social Commerce team places customers at the heart of everything we build. We are looking for our next product manager to help innovate for our customers, working alongside our Business partners, UX, Engineering and Data teams to tackle high stakes problems.

The Social Commerce Team drives strategic and exciting experiences fundamentally changing the way people shop. As one of the fastest growing functions within the Walmart organization - we value individuals who are customer obsessed, data-informed, and have a bias towards action.

As part of the Social Commerce product team, you will leverage the best-in-class methods to reinvent the way customers shop and marketers manage the business. We are looking for self-starters who can partner effectively with stakeholder teams to drive execution. What you'll get to lead...

  • Develop the product strategy and roadmap to address business pain points and opportunities to ensure protection of the Walmart brand.

  • Craft the roadmap for leveraging AI and automated tools to streamline brand safety vetting and monitoring processes.

  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams by driving priorities aligned to business goals and ensuring complete visibility of features to your stakeholders.

  • Execute your roadmap alongside dedicated engineering teams using Agile methods.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • Experience with integration (s) that included complicated, large systems and workflows via real-time and near real time data exchanges

  • Previously working with Social Commerce, Brand Safety, AI or machine learning products

  • You are execution oriented and have experience building products that delight users and drive measurable user outcomes.

  • You are a seasoned product owner who can run products end-to-end independently, while collaborating effectively with marketing business, engineering, UX design/research, and other stakeholders.

  • You are obsessed with the customer you work backwards from wants and needs towards simple solutions; quantify value to your customer, partners, and internal stakeholders; and use research and data to improve products and processes.

  • You are excited about solving very complex challenges and can create structure amidst ambiguity.

  • You are comfortable influencing others , communicating clearly, leading teams, getting buy-in from leadership, and managing stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

  • You are scrappy but do not sacrifice on quality - you have a test-and-learn mentality and an agile way of working cross-functionally and collaboratively to improve your team's products.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.

  • Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives

  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership

  • Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

SUNNYVALE, California US-04396:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 7 years' experience in product management or related area.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
