Install, maintain and repair electrical components of industrial equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

Essential Functions:

  • Install, and repair electrical equipment, parts and control panels and bend conduit, pull wire and design electrical systems.

  • Operate tools in close proximity to electrical components.

  • Ability to operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.

  • Work as a team member or alone to complete projects.

  • Follow safety procedures and meet electrical codes.

  • Ability to make decisions based on technical documents.

  • Perform quality testing and inspections on electrical equipment.

    Qualification Requirements:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Ability to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to take management direction.

  • High School diploma or GED is required.

  • Journeyman experience or the completion of an apprenticeship program.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.

  • Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.

  • Willingness to preform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.

  • Ability to determine load and load limits on electrical services.

  • Excellent attendance.

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.

  • Must be professional, technical and mechanically proficient.
