Plant Manager
Job Description
Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity. Responsible for 24-hour operation and expected to respond to developing conditions and crisis situations when necessary.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations.
Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives.
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff.
Communicate production performance to and carry out all directives from the Director of Operations.
Effectively communicate with the management team and other departments to keep them informed and resolve issues.
Meet with various vendors that supply production-related products.

Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources)
Bachelor’s degree or greater in a related field highly desired
Minimum of five years experience in a processing plant environment
Five (5) or more years’ management experience in an operating processing plant environment
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn and use new software applications
Must be able to build, maintain, and contribute to a team environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $175000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
