Description
Our client is seeking a talented, dynamic, and growth-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join their growing team! The ideal Human Resources Specialist candidate will have diverse experience in multiple Human Resources modules.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between employees and management.
Manage workers’ compensation claims, documentation, and employee return-to-work processes.
Assist managers with progressive discipline and employee relations issues.
Analyze employment data and prepare reports as required.
Conduct exit interviews and handle termination paperwork.
Oversee the hiring process, from recruitment to onboarding.
Conduct background checks and reference verifications for job applicants.
Provide guidance on company policies, benefits, and procedures.
Support payroll processing as needed.
Perform administrative tasks and ensure compliance with HR policies.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience as a Human Resources Specialist or similar role.
Strong grasp of recruitment processes and employment law.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in payroll processing and HR best practices.
Ability to act with integrity, and confidentiality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of employee relations and staff development practices.
