Description
We are in the search for a diligent Staff Accountant to be a part of our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry located in HONOLULU, Hawaii. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and analyzing financial records for our clients. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of precise financial statements and reports for a range of clients.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records through thorough account reconciliations.
• Execute technical accounting tasks linked to diverse financial transactions and analyze accounts accordingly.
• Oversee bank reconciliations to account for all transactions and rectify any discrepancies.
• Collaborate in special project assignments as directed.
• Utilize accounting software, particularly Skyline, for effective record-keeping and reporting.
• Offer assistance during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Handle financial reporting and various accounting tasks for numerous clients.
• Regularly maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Process client credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is necessary.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger management is required.
• Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately and promptly.
• Hands-on experience with Month End Close procedures is essential.
• Familiarity with Skyline software is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with various Accounting Software Systems is beneficial.
• Strong skills in Account Reconciliation are needed.
• Proficient in managing Balance Sheet Accounts.
• Ability to Prepare Financial Statements accurately and in a timely manner.
