Hood River County Health Department is filling the role of Outreach
Coordinator. This role will work with Community and Regional Partners to
complete grant deliverables related to Outreach Programs such as OHP,
SNAP, and other departmental services offered by the Hood River County
Health Department. This role will require direct and indirect client
contact, referral, application assistance, tracking of outcomes,
reporting, and general outreach coordination activities. All services
are confidential. Regional travel to counties using an authorized County
vehicle and attending community events are part of this position and may
occur outside of regular business hours. Qualifications necessary for
this role are knowledge of office equipment and standard equipment,
Spanish fluency, demonstration of good judgement, skill providing public
outreach and ability to establish and maintain an effective working
relationship with peers, supervisors and the general public. It is a
requirement that client confidentiality will be maintained. Applicants
must have a valid Oregon Driver License and be able to pass an Oregon
Health Professional background check. Salary: \$21.20 - \$29.01/hour
depending on experience Language skill requirement or preference: This
position will need to be able to respond to any and all requests about
program with any individual who may call for service information.
