Objective

The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for achieving volume targets through outbound efforts to expand the company portfolio and broker database. In addition, there is an expectation to maintain and grow existing relationships.

Responsibilities/Duties

Generate sales opportunities by leveraging lead lists, individual networks, and organic calling activities. Work with Director of Sales Administration to monitor broker performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Collaborate with Director of Sales Administration and Marketing to create promotions suited for brokers and customers based on industry trends. Process customer applications in accordance with company guidelines. Coordinate with brokers and customers to obtain necessary financial and ancillary information when required. Effectively work across departments to ensure a seamless customer and vendor experience. Provide timely and consistent communication to customers and vendors. Monitor and respond to incoming calls and general sales inbox inquiries. Attending industry trade shows, conferences, and meetings. Maintain company database with accurate and relevant information. Completing administrative tasks including but not limited to Faxing, Scanning, Mailing, and Filing.

Essential Functions

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer terminal with repetitive motion. Physical requirements of this position are considered sedentary work involving preparing documentation, preparing, and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and resolving inquiries. Some amount of mobility to access files, attend meetings, both on and off site, and perform property inspections is necessary. The employee is expected to converse with internal and external customers and exchange information.

Knowledge -  Skills & Abilities

BS or BA Preferred in Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, business, or related industry. Self-motivated with strong written, organization, time management, and communication skills. Basic ability of operating computer (PC) is necessary including Work, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn various company software platforms and CRM systems. Comfort level of interpreting financial data from company reports.
