The Manager, Market Research & Integrated Analytics, Imbruvica is responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights from primary market research and data analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action for the Imbruvica brand within the Oncology Business Unit.

This position will partner closely with brand, cross functional partners and alliance partners and serves as an internal consultant to the Sales & Marketing team and senior leaders. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and implementation of Imbruvica analytics & reporting plan. Determine optimal analytical approaches through appropriate data sources. Foster strong business partnerships to develop meaningful project goals and outcomes. Provide strategic guidance to business plans, sales & brand strategies, and life cycle management. Conduct objective analyses that uncover findings and insights across multiple data sets, to enable organizational decision making and action. Serve as focal point for integrating insights and analytics across the Strategy, Analytics & Transformation (StAT) team (forecasting, marketing research, business intelligence, and integrated analytics) for brands and translating into business impact.

  • Ensure seamless integration of analytics from both national and subnational levels across key data sources – prescription, patient, call activity and managed care - to evaluate marketing and sales tactics. Identify and develop key metrics to measure and monitor performance through dashboards.

  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of relevant Brand primary research for health care professionals, patients, payers, including developmental research (e.g. product / patient/ attitudinal segmentation, etc.,) and evaluative research (brand positioning, advertising & promotional copy, etc.,). Define key business questions and objectives into appropriate primary research methods, implement optimal research / analytic approaches, identify appropriate supplier partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, design research questionnaires and moderator guides, manage timelines and overall project goals. Translate customer learnings into actionable recommendations based on key insights.

  • Provide strategic guidance through research and analytics to business plans, sales & brand strategies, and life cycle management. Serve as a trusted advisor by conducting objective research and analyses that uncover findings and insights across multiple data sets and market research, to enable organizational decision making and action.

  • Champion the development and implementation of research and analytical approaches and methods that are innovative and examples of best practices. Act with speed, agility and accountability, while demonstrating the leadership to ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects. Apply consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation for impact. Apply strength in storytelling and data visualizations in order to deliver effective presentations to senior management. Leverage and manage external partners to support internal efforts, where appropriate.

  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity to stay abreast of emerging healthcare & pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on our franchise business strategies. Foster strong learning agility, elevating analytical skills to adopt to new techniques/technology.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of BA/BS is required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience required in market research, business intelligence, marketing, sales, finance, business analytics, strategic planning, or management consulting is required.

  • Expertise with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.

  • Business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence brand level decisions and strategies are required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations

  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing team, alliance partners as well as other cross-functional partners.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Self-motivation and high degree of intellectual curiosity

Preferred:

  • Experience in pharma data sources (including Rx, claims, and sales sources) is strongly preferred

  • Oncology experience is preferred.

Other:

This position is based in Horsham, PA and requires up to 10% domestic travel.
