Kelsey-Seybold Clinic ANCILLARY SCHEDULER in Houston, Texas

Responsibilities

To schedule ancillary tests and procedures in a medically correct sequence in the Radiology Dept., Cardiology & Pulmonary Lab and Nuclear Medicine Dept. Outsource patients to contract vendors and prepare authorization for exams done outside of the clinic. Confirm and reschedule appointments when equipment is down. Give patients appropriate instructions, directions, and prep kits.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $ 38,422 - $47,460 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program

Preferred: N/A

Experience

Required: 1 yr of scheduling experience

Preferred: 1 year medical or radiology experience

License(s)

Special Skills

Required: Basic PC literacy. Alpha/Num Forms Entry.

Preferred: Insurance knowledge

Other

Required: Excellent Customer service skills

Preferred: Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume area
