Job Title: Aviation Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aviation Technician specializing in A&P for Embraer Legacy 400/450 and 600/650. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience working with Business Jet Aircraft. This role involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
Responsibilities
Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.
Use sound judgment and technical aptitude for maintenance decisions, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
Perform operational checks and engine runs to ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
Inspect aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals.
Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
Troubleshoot and repair all airframe systems as required, including hydraulics and landing gear.
Perform fuel tank sealing on aircraft as needed.
Document all accomplished work clearly, concisely, and accurately.
Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.
Read and interpret maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
Promote and continuously improve company policies and procedures.
Analyze mechanical problems to determine the cause and best method of repair.
Test, repair, and adjust engines, engine controls, accessories, propellers, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and flight controls as required.
Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
Utilize mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and calibration test equipment.
Observe all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules and policies.
Perform other duties as required by the department.
Essential Skills
A&P License
Experience with Embraer Legacy 400/450 and 600/650
Phase maintenance
Heavy maintenance
Aircraft maintenance
Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
Minimum of 3+ years experience as an A&P Mechanic on Embraer aircraft
Authorized to work in the U.S.

- High school diploma or equivalent

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $52.00/hr.
