Industrial Engineer with Construction Management Experience.
Location: (ONSITE) - Houston, Texas (77068)
Duration : 12+ month contract - (Opportunity for contract extension expectation)
Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
Pay: Negotiable depending on direct-related experience
Work Authorization: Must be able to work in the United States with current employment authorization documents. Visa sponsorship is not available now and in the future for this role.
Seeking an IE with Medical Products Finished Goods Warehouse Construction Management experience for a 12 – 18 months project to buildout an existing structure in the area of Houston, Texas, that will serve as a Regional Distribution Center for Renal solution products. The buildout portion of the project is anticipated to begin by Sep 2024 and conclude by Mar 2025. The IE's full-time presence during buildout is required at the job site.
The IE will be expected to perform the following minimum services but not limited to:
Updated Project Execution Plan & Updated Project Procedures
Development, Review, and Approval of User Requirements
Review and Approval of Construction Drawings and Specifications
Construction Permits
Safety Program and documentation
Integrated Facilities/Utilities & Process Equipment Installation Schedule
Construction quality documents
Red line documentation
Change control documents
Construction turnover packages
HSE Management
Quality Management
Mechanical Completion & Turnover
Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Assistance
Documentation and Handing over
Schedule Management
Project Schedule Milestones
Coordination with design office for field queries and inspection visits
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IE with construction management experience or related field
5+ years of experience in Medical Products Finished Goods Warehouse Construction Management or related experience
Experience with warehouse processes automation technologies desired
Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures
Ability to read and interpret Construction Plans and Specifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
