As an Engineer Sr. / Staff, you will apply your years of industry expertise and experience as you work independently on large-scale projects and anticipate business trends. You will collaborate with others to identify and develop innovative services or processes that address current and future customer needs and recommend improvements. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver presentations to leaders and may supervise team members in their work!

A Day in the Life
In this role as a Staff Engineer - Asset Engineering & Reliability (AER), your primary responsibilities will include applying knowledge of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 in support of projects and operations while maintaining Williams pipe specifications and providing expertise in valves. You will consult on piping design and valve/actuator selection as well as evaluate variances to piping and valve requirements. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers in piping design practices, participate in communities of practice for technical standards, engage with industry organizations, and collaborate with departments like Process Safety and Pipeline Safety. Your broad knowledge of industry standards is pivotal for technical leadership in projects and operations.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Performs sophisticated technical tasks and leads teams in projects of major scope and complexity
Participates in the development and implementation of technical standards and specifications
Interprets technological aspects of business and coordinates with leaders to ensure success
Prepares and delivers presentations
Applies expertise, knowledge and experience from projects that positively impacts earnings
Collaborates with others to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs
Handles resources requirements for projects
