Job Description
Insight Global is on the quest for an Environmental Technical Leader with expertise in environmental assessment, remediation, and compliance to join our Houston team. This pivotal role is tailored for those adept at managing Refinery and downstream projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust experience in devising environmental strategies, engaging with clients, and guiding technical teams to achieve site closure. A significant aspect of the role includes formulating regulatory closure strategies, actively overseeing projects, spearheading proposal teams, and fostering business growth with both established and prospective clients.
Core Responsibilities:
Supervising complex environmental projects, including refinery operations and containment soil management.
Deep involvement in compliance aspects (TRRP, RCRA, Railroad Commission, TCEQ), developing remediation options, and assessing exposure risks.
Authoring and peer-reviewing technical reports.
Proactively advancing projects toward regulatory closure.

Skills and Requirements
Educational Requirements: A Texas PE or PG license is mandatory, with a B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science as a minimum qualification.
A minimum of 10 years in environmental consulting.
o A history of securing no further action approvals.
o Proficiency in RCRA engineering, including permits and tank certifications.
o Experience with chemical processes and familiarity with TRRP Program and RCRA requirements.
o Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
o Demonstrated leadership in technical team settings.
o A commitment to quality, loss prevention, and meticulous attention to detail.
o Skilled in proposal writing, cost estimation, personnel training, and mentoring.
o A track record of leading proposal teams and nurturing client relationships.
Mastery in technical writing and complex report reviews.
Competence in data analysis and regulatory standard comparisons.
Effective client and regulatory liaison.
Mentorship and development of junior technical professionals. null
