About the role:

  • Our North America Business Development team, composed of 3 people, is integrated into Solvay’s Peroxides GBU and focuses on market development and business expansion in collaboration with our partners and customers.

  • As a Market Development Manager, you will work on leading business development activities, researching and analyzing markets, and developing technical expertise to support our product expansion. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business and have a positive impact on our market presence and customer satisfaction.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Leading business development activities for product expansion into new and existing markets.

  • Ensuring Business Development goals are achieved.

  • Developing, maintaining, and expanding product and application technical expertise.

  • Researching and analyzing markets for peroxide applications.

  • Developing and maintaining sales and marketing tools to support product line managers and distributors.

  • We offer a permanent contract, with the option of being fully remote or hybrid. The individual must be located in the US, preferably close to a large airport, and be able to travel up to 60% of the time.

About you

  • A bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering is required, with a background in Mining and/or Wastewater processes and applications preferred. Relevant work experience of a minimum of 3-5 years in a technical chemical position with commercial or customer-facing experience is essential.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the US base pay reasonably expected for this role is $103,000 to $130,000, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
