Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, based in Houston, Texas. The role involves handling payroll activities for a large number of employees and ensuring compliance with multiple state regulations. The workplace offers a hybrid schedule and requires proficiency with ADP software.
Responsibilities:
• Manage bi-weekly payroll activities for a substantial number of employees and monthly payroll for a smaller group.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations.
• Utilize ADP software to facilitate all payroll activities.
• Administer and maintain accurate employee records.
• Handle complex payroll inquiries and resolve them efficiently.
• Monitor overtime and ensure it aligns with company policies.
• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline payroll processes.
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handle 401k and RRSP administration duties.
• Perform other accounting functions as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce
• Understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration
• Proficiency in About Time software
• Experience in various Accounting Functions
• Auditing skills
• Knowledgeable about Benefit Functions
