Description We are in search of a skilled PC Technician to become part of our team in Houston, Texas. The selected candidate will assist with various tasks such as troubleshooting computer hardware, managing databases, and installing cables. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and software
• Manage and maintain the company's database to ensure data accuracy and security
• Utilize knowledge of Dell and Linux Technologies to support system operations
• Perform tests using AB Testing to improve the functionality and efficiency of the system
• Manage and maintain Active Directory to ensure user and group policies are up to date
• Provide technical support for Apple devices used within the company
• Ensure regular backups of vital company data using Backup Technologies
• Install and manage cable connections for computer systems and networks
• Work with EO/IR systems to improve system performance and efficiency. Requirements • Proficient in Computer Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
• Strong understanding of Database systems and management
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies and its various software and hardware components
• Experience with EO/IR systems and their operation
• Expertise in Linux Technologies and associated systems
• Knowledge of AB Testing principles and applications
• Proficient in Active Directory management and operations
• Ability to handle and troubleshoot Apple Devices
• Familiarity with various Backup Technologies and their usage
• Proficient in Cable Installation and maintenance
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
