Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Quality Control Technician who is preoccupied with big questions: Where do we go from here? What are the limits of innovation and exploration? How do we continue to evolve as a species?

SUMMARY: Our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Quality Control Technician who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axiom’s Safety and Mission Assurance team with performing standardized quality control receiving inspections on purchased products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain tool control records, calibrated test & inspection equipment, and identify areas for quality control improvement. Operate company vehicles to store and transport materials and products. Perform all task as directed by supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contract and agreement negotiation, arriving at an executed agreement that meets the customer’s objectives and Axiom’s strategic business goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships and facilitate communication with internal/external stakeholders to ensure that all sponsorship objectives and deliverables are met.

  • Project management and performance reporting.

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 5+ years of inspection experience

  • Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions

  • Advance Experience with Quality Inspection Tools

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience

  • Experience drafting reports and collating data

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret technical information

Essential Functions

  • Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements

  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

  • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

Physical Requirements

  • High-level of visual awareness include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Ability to stand for long periods

  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
