Receptionist

Job Description

The Receptionist provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, as well as additional clerical duties.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.

  • Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains routes and publications.

  • Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and/or distribution of office supplies.

  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.

  • May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and data entry.

Physical Demands and Exposures

The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.

  • This position works primarily indoors but will be exposed to weather elements when working in field environment or visiting region locations.

  • Ability to withstand exposure to extreme weather elements (hot/cold).

  • Willingness to adjust schedule as operations dictate.

  • Ability to speak and hear telephone conversations clearly.

  • Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
