Description
We have a contract to hire opportunity for a Staff Accountant with an AP background to join one of our legal clients on a contract to hire basis. If you are interested, please apply today.
Responsibilities:
• Take charge of processing accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Regularly maintain the general ledger by posting and adjusting journal entries.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all financial transactions.
• Carry out month-end close procedures to finalize the company's financial activities for the month.
• Utilize Excel and other software for efficient financial management.
Requirements
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
• Strong understanding and experience with General Ledger management.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing Journal Entries.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary.
