Position Summary
As an Associate Sales Tools Business Analyst, you will be part of a team focused on delivering enterprise cloud technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise, working at the intersection of technology and sales to optimize processes, tools, and systems. You will wear many hats and support critical activities including requirements capturing, configuration, testing, training, and post-deployment support. Our Business Analysts work alongside senior team members to help design, develop, and deploy large-scale enterprise solutions all while learning and growing your abilities.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering and Documentation
Collaborate with sales leaders and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities related to sales operations.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify technology requirements that align with sales goals and strategies.
Create detailed requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development and implementation of technology solutions.
Technology Assessment
Evaluate existing technologies, tools, and systems used by the sales team.
Research and recommend new technologies/solutions that can enhance the sales process, improve productivity, and drive revenue growth.
Solution Design and Implementation
Develop comprehensive technology solutions based on business requirements.
Assist in solutioning and configuring user stories
Collaborate with IT teams to implement, configure, and customize systems to meet the specific needs of the sales team.
Participate in the delivery of solution demos
Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Document and complete deployment steps for Go Live
Provide support post Go Live
Data Analysis and Reporting
Utilize data analytics to identify trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights that inform decision-making within the sales function.
Design and generate reports to monitor the effectiveness of sales tools and technologies.
User Training and Support
Conduct training sessions for sales teams on the effective use of technology tools and systems.
Provide ongoing support, addressing user issues and ensuring the smooth operation of sales-related technologies.
Continuous Improvement
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales enablement.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other sales-related technologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
