Here are The Mick George Group we are looking for a Customer Service Representative in our concrete division.
Monday to Friday between 7am to 6pm – Saturdays as required.
Job Overview:
The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer service focused individual who thrives in fast paced environment. Day to day involvement with all the Concrete Team, supporting customers with their orders, answering the phone lines, organising order inboxes, and keeping an eye on concrete batching screens to help support communication with customers.
Responsibilities:
Answering and making phone calls
Checking purchase orders
Communicating regularly with customers, managing expectations, ETAS, and updating on delays
Portal support
Invoice Queries & Ticket Requests
Taking and booking on orders
Organising refunds for customers for sign off.
Diary/Inbox management
Using multiple systems to make sure jobs are booked on correctly for our customers and correct payments are advised and actioned.
Liaising with internal department such as transport to ensure best service is received by the customer
Reviewing concrete delivery system daily to make sure customers are kept up to date with their orders
Following procedures in place to ensure work is completed correctly
Making sure attention to detail is of the highest standard
Understanding company updates, reviewing locations, mixes and price increases when taking orders
Organising invoice query and complaint details for directors
Identify cross selling and up-selling opportunities and gather further information on enquiries
Any adhoc duties required by the department
Qualifications/Experience:
Computer literate & Microsoft Office Skills
Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work under instruction whilst using own initiative where necessary.
Highly organised with a polite and confident telephone manner
Previous experience within the construction/ aggregates/ waste industry would be advantageous but not essential.
Driven and pro-active individual.
