The intern cloud application engineer will assist in the design, development, and integration of cloud based data applications in to proofs-of-concepts (PoC) and prototype applications for the equipment predictive health management. He/she will be responsible for developing the software code and integrate in to prototype system to verify the functional performance. He/she will be working with a dynamic and collaborative team that integrates a wide array of technologies into a cohesive IoT solution in the aerospace equipment predictive health management domain.
• Coordinate with system/software engineers and partners/suppliers during the prototype development
• Design and develop backend ML applications to run on AWS EKS cluster
• Design and develop front end web user interfaces to display the equipment health status
• Analyze, experiment and implement model training methods to PHM models in AWS cloud environment
• Work with AI/ML engineer to understand the models and outputs to integrate in to workflow applications
• Work with database engineers/AI engineers to analyze the data and create environment for training
• Analyze MLOps processes and methods and implement in the development environment
Job Requirements
Education: 2-3 years of completed college coursework in the fields of Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience: Internship
Computer Skill:
• Knowledge in any one of the CM tools: GitHub/CodeCommit etc.,
• Knowledge in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C/C++, JSON, Java, and JavaScript
• Knowledge in one of the frameworks: React, NodeJS, Bootstrap, and Angular etc.
• Knowledge in using JSON/XML/REST and associated frameworks
• Knowledge using Unix and Linux and developing applications that run on either operating systems
• Knowledge in developing microservices
• Knowledge in at least one of the cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.)
• Knowledge in containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Knowledge in any one of the backend databases design (SQL or NOSQL databases)
• Knowledgeable of AI training frameworks on AWS cloud such as SageMaker etc.
Other Skills:
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
• Analytical, problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.
• Possess a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
