APT Research is hiring a full-time
DOORS Requirements Engineerin Huntsville, AL to perform DOORS for NG administration on a 9/80 work schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and optimize IBM DOORS NG for MAVIS requirements management
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls
- Develop and enforce best practices for database structuring, attributes, and relationships
- Develop, manage, and maintain system and subsystem requirements within DOORS NG
- Ensure traceability between requirements, verification methods, and test plans
- Support requirements decomposition, allocation, and validation across MAVIS subsystems
- Generate reports, dashboards, and metrics for design reviews and audits
- Integrate DOORS NG with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Rhapsody, or similar
Required Experience/Education:
- 5+ years of experience in IBM DOORS or DOORS NG administration
- 5+ years of experience in IBM DOORS or DOORS NG administration
- Strong background in requirements engineering for complex aerospace or defense systems
- Hands-on experience with MBSE methodologies and SysML (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Systems engineering experience in space systems, launch vehicles, or deep-space missions
- Experience following a disciplined Model Development Plan or similar structured MBSE frameworks
- Experience working on Mars architecture programs, launch vehicles, or planetary exploration systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based DOORS NG deployments and possibly Jama deployments
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Must be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance if needed.
