SAIC is hiring a Senior System Administrator for the Joint Technology Center/Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL) in Huntsville, AL to support UAS Simulations .
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, and email systems
Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage physical and virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
Perform server administration tasks in a mixed environment, including user/group management, file permissions, Group Policy, file replication, and resource monitoring
Manage and Maintain VMware and ESXi infrastructure
Schedule and perform routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades of computer systems
Provide help desk and IT support as needed
Support and maintain Azure DevOps Server
Additional duties assigned based on changes to business needs
Qualifications

Required Skills:
Experience providing desktop, server and VM support with Microsoft technologies (This team is running on Windows OS, Windows Server, ESXi\VMware)
Experience with Virtual Machines and hardware virtualization technology (ESXi and VMWare)
Understanding of modern TCP/IP networking fundamentals for local area networks
Familiar with managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
Able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ Certification within 90 days of employment
Desired Skills:
Azure DevOps
Experience managing development pipelines
Information Assurance experience including applying STIGS, resolving IAVA's and risk acceptance documents
Able to obtain within 6 months of hire an OS certification Windows Server
Experience with system imaging processes and configuration management (SCCM\MECM)
