Job Description/Essential Functions:

Bevilacqua Research Corporation (BRC) is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Small Business based in Huntsville, Alabama incorporated in 1992. BRC provides “best-value” technical and management solutions to a diverse government and commercial customer base in the following key business areas: test & evaluation, systems analysis & integration, security & intelligence, and R&D.

Responsibilities:

This position provides leadership in thermal design, analysis, and test support of various NASA Space System projects such as:

  • Human Landing System (HLS) to deliver American astronauts — the first woman and next man — on the Moon’s south pole

  • International Space Station (ISS) environmental variables controls, and experimental payloads thermal/fluids support

  • Space Launch Systems (SLS) Avionics Thermal/Fluids support

  • Ground Support and Test Equipment

  • Spacecraft Thermal/Fluids support

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering or related field with at least 2 years experience is required. Degree from an ABET accredited university preferred. Typically, educational requirement is a BS with 0-5 years of experience.

The Successful candidate shall have:

  • Proficiency with thermal test set up support, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Experienced in thermal desktop code and thermal testing

  • Deep understanding knowledge of orbital thermal environment development

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with NASA standards and MSFC Specifications

  • Experience with leading engineering teams
