Hutchinson Health, a member of the HealthPartners/Park Nicollet family of care, is seeking an experienced, inspiration and visionary president to lead a well-respected medical center located west of the Twin Cities in Hutchinson, Minnesota. The organization is comprised of a 66-bed hospital, outpatient clinics in Hutchinson and Dassel, a Cancer Center, a Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Clinic, Inpatient and outpatient Mental Health and a Sleep Center. With more than 650 employees, Hutchinson Health is one of the largest employers in Hutchinson and McLeod County, Minnesota. Hutchinson, Minnesota is located 45 miles west of the Twin City suburbs along the beautiful Crow River. An easy drive into the metropolitan area to enjoy major sporting events, abundant shopping opportunities, concerts, theaters and other varied cultural events. Hutchinson is built on a park system boasting 33 parks and miles of trails to enjoy amongst many other community, arts and sporting events. This role would require you to live in the community. The organizational culture is one in which leaders model deep respect, personal integrity, transparency and visibility. As the President you will be responsible for strategic long-range planning, program development and modification, consistent operational performance and outcomes, and coordination of activities for Hutchinson Health and central Minnesota region within the HealthPartners system strategies. In this position, you will have an accountability to the President of Park Nicollet/Methodist HealthPartners and to the Hutchinson Health Board of Directors. As the leader of Hutchinson Health, you will be responsible for all hospital and clinic operations to include: Oversight of patient care which is safe, equitable, timely, effective, efficient, and affordable in accordance with state, local and national requirements. Further developing and sustaining an engaged culture in which leaders, staff and physicians can thrive. Leading the Hutchinson Health executive management team with links to and collaboration with various stakeholders to carry out the organization's short/long term goals, strategic planning and fiscal control. Closely collaborating with leadership from Hutchinson Health Physicians, PA., to ensure alignment of goals and objectives adopted by HealthPartners and the Hutchinson Health board of directors. Hutchinson Health Physicians, PA., who employs the majority of the physicians under a PSA agreement with Hutchinson Health, has a longstanding relationship with Hutchinson Health Services which has been highly effective and mutually beneficial. Identifying new opportunities and programs to address the community's ongoing health and well-being needs and oversee Hutchinson Health's collaborative engagement in community outreach. Solving complex issues which impact the effectiveness of Hutchinson Health hospital and clinics in collaboration and in alignment with the overall HealthPartners family as well as the HH Board of Directors. Representing the health system in official contacts and planning efforts with the community, health care and health insurance leaders, business leaders, and local, state and national government officials. Ensuring a culture of accountability for achievement of organizational objectives, ensuring the organization's ability to provide high quality health care in a cost effective and competitive environment. Qualified candidates will possess a Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a healthcare related field with 10 years of senior ma agement experience (Department Director or above), five of which are at executive level of Vice President or above. Additional qualifications include extensive professional and technical knowledge of health care delivery systems, a sound knowledge of marketing, finance and risk assessment and excellent interpersonal skills which enhance your ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a varied constituency of medical professionals, employees, board members, the general public, and community and government offices. Must be adept in directing and managing a large organization with the ability to integrate and harmonize different managerial functions involved in the delivery of outstanding patient care.
