Resource Room Facilitator Full time. In-person position MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center The Resource Room Facilitator maintains videos, print materials and a library of self-assist job search preparedness software and web-based programs that can be accessed through the internet. The RR Facilitator also provides assistance to jobseekers needing to access and use the MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center website, Microsoft WORD, resume writing software, computer based self-assessment and other self-assist job search preparedness programs. In addition, the Resource Room Facilitator conducts individual and group workshops covering a variety of assessment, vocational, educational and job search related matters and conducts eligibility intakes when assigned. Required: High School Diploma or equivalency (Prefer Associate\'s Degree) Minimum of three years direct related experience in library sciences, computer literacy training, individualized and group instruction for adult learners or a combination of education or training which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have excellent computer skills. Knowledge of library concepts and techniques. Knowledge of computer remediation and teaching techniques. Knowledge of adult learning concepts and motivation techniques. Knowledge of educational/occupational testing. Ability to provide individualized and group instruction. Prefer: Ability to complete required forms and reports. Ability to maintain enthusiasm, charisma and innovation while assisting in job search. Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and businesslike manner, both orally and in writing.
