We are looking for an CPQ Software Engineer to lead the growth of GE Electrification Software quoting environment. The CPQ Software Engineer will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex software solutions to meet the business needs while exemplifying technical excellence and productivity for the rest of the team.
The ideal candidate has extensive background in implementing Oracle CPQ platform for B2B.
Must be experienced in configuring products, bundles, licensing, subscription and invoice management, set-up of complex product catalogs and advanced pricing including escalators.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, Develop and support configurations, commerce, document designer, BOM, ABO, BML Coding, integrations, reports, workflow, and custom development in Oracle CPQ.
Continuously partner with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to gain in-depth business knowledge to support the business needs.
Partners with product owners and scrum team members to deliver against goals and business requirements.
Participate in story design, grooming, estimation calls with Developers, BA’s, architects and Product Owners.
Develop robust, scalable, interoperable, and flexible solutions that scale horizontally and vertically.
Design, configure, and develop custom code/objects using the CPQ developer toolkit.
Develop web services API integrations with other systems including CRM/ERP systems.
Independently work on user stories, including configurations, unit test scripts, deployments and documentation.
Plans, documents, and executes unit test plans to ensure all code changes meet requirements, and specifications.
Work with Oracle and external vendors to resolve technical and functional issues.
Actively collaborate with various functional teams during quarterly Oracle cloud upgrades to ensure smooth transition.
Keeping up-to date on adoption of new features released on the platform.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
5+ years of Development Experience on Oracle CPQ (Big Machines)
1+ years of experience working on HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, XSLT and JavaScript.
1+ years of experience with implementing subscription-based projects.
Active Oracle CPQ certification is a must.
Experience Working on Doc Designer, Email Designer, Approvals modifications, Workflows with advanced BML/BMQL scripting.
Desired Characteristics:
Experience in implementing BOM, ABO and JET UI with frontend development experience on Oracle CPQ.
Self-driven and must be able to work independently.
Strong desire for continuous learning to pick new tools/technologies.
Sense of technical ownership of the system design, development, and quality.
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
Operate and leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies.
