Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be at the forefront of generating groundbreaking business insights for Amgen’s innovative Thyroid Eye Disease medicine, TEPEZZA. This role is pivotal in empowering our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams with ground breaking, data-driven analytical projects. You’ll spearhead the development and continuous enhancement of field-based and management-level reports, dashboards, and provide on-the-spot analytical solutions.

  • Drive Innovation : Lead the charge in creating and deploying advanced field-based and management-level reporting systems and KPIs to measure TEPEZZA's performance and success. This involves building sophisticated back-end processes and coding with expertise in Python, Microsoft SQL Server, and SAS.

  • Uncover Trends : Dive deep into data to identify key trends driving sales and marketing performance. Apply these insights to shape strategies that enhance overall success.

  • Leverage Diverse Data : Integrate and analyze data from various sources, including Amgen By Your Side Hub, CRM, claims, and sales data, to pinpoint strengths and opportunities across internal teams such as market access, site of care, and patient services.

  • Collaborative Analysis : Provide precise and comprehensive analyses to cross-functional leadership teams. Be a vital contributor to our extended corporate and commercial teams, bringing a fresh perspective on data utilization, analyses, and brand performance.

  • Cross-Functional Impact : Engage in cross-functional teams, enhancing understanding and application of available data and analytics to boost brand performance.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of patient access experience OR

  • Associate's Degree and 6 years of patient access experience OR

  • High School Diploma / GED and 8 years of patient access experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree in a related field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Life Sciences preferred.

  • Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL, VBA, and Python.

  • Strong experience in managing and analyzing HCP data, patient data, and claims data.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.

  • Experience with data visualization tools and management reporting development.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Thorough with a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with neuroimmunology products or rare disease market analytics.

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales and marketing processes.

This role is paid hourly. The expected annualized salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $76,857.00 to $104,261.00. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
