As a startup, Roots offers a high-paced environment with ample growth and learning opportunities across multiple disciplines. The role will have direct interaction with clients (SMEs/Business Process Owners), infrastructure team (Automation & Cloud), front-end development team and senior management. This role will perform maintenance and support of live automation solutions, as well as play a key role in improving and developing the existing automations/templates within Roots.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Daily scheduling and administration of Blue Prism production environment and control room operations running processes, Digital Coworkers, maintaining resources (VMs), viewing logs, successful cases and exceptions, management of SLA and productivity etc.
Managing, investigating, and finding resolution to exceptions (Business and System Exceptions) and implementing bugfixes or change requests.
Periodic health checks, monitoring the productivity of Digital Coworkers and report weekly/monthly metrics and analysis
Logging and escalating issues to relevant teams, provide viable workarounds to resolve incidents
Understanding on how to read and understand the workflow for diagnosis, escalation to the development teams
Flexible to work shift-patterns including weekends and evenings across 24/7 and during holidays.
Delivers improvement of client satisfaction and undertakes the ongoing measurement of the relationship established with the customer, and coming up with innovative ideas
Documenting common issues in production, how-to-guides, best practices, and other tasks that requires documentation
Qualifications:
Experience developing RPA solutions; Blue Prism AD01 (Developer) or APD01 (Professional Developer); preferred if has ASD01 certification (Solution Designer)
Excellent communication skills with business stakeholders, including ability to translate business requirements into robust automation solutions
Active learner and consumer of innovative technologies, particularly low/no-code development platforms
Experience of working within an Agile or Scrum-based continuous integration environment
Comfort reviewing/requesting more information on Process Design documents (business oriented) and technical design documents (solution-team oriented)
Comfortable working within project planning constraints, communicating project risks, and providing inputs to the change control process
(Optional) Preferred additional experience with the Python programming language
(Optional) Preferred experience in Azure portal
