Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

Join the world’s leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions. We are seeking a Controls Engineer to lead and support several automation projects, including a new, automated cell that assembles the inducer housing for HVAC units. This cell features several Fanuc robots and Siemens PLCs. You will also assist with five other cells with Siemens PLCs. Key responsibilities include programming and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs, determining the root cause of cell failures and providing solutions, training current engineers on Siemens TIA Portal, and bringing new ideas and solutions to the automation team.

Hard Skills

  • Technical Associates degree (EET, MET, Industrial Automation, Advanced Automation)

  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on PLC programming experience with Siemens TIA Portal

  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with Fanuc or ABB robotics

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

100% on feet within manufacturing floor setting (this is not an office job). Monday through Friday, 12 PM - 12 AM. 50 to 55 hours average weekly.
