Humana Procurement Lead in Indianapolis, Indiana

The Procurement Lead generates and implements efficient sourcing and category management strategies. Manages the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending. The Procurement Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Procurement Lead will report directly into the Associate Director of Procurement and will create category strategies, design sourcing plans, oversee negotiations, implement contracts, and drive successful supplier relationships. This Procurement Lead will support the Business Process Outsourcing category, within the Human Capital Category portfolio. They will also be responsible for ensuring strong alignment with, and becoming a trusted advisor to, key functional leaders. The Procurement Lead will also partner with business and sourcing leadership in Humana's business segments to drive enterprise-wide value.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 or more years of Procurement experience

  • 2 or more years of Reporting experience

  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience

  • 2 or more years of experience collaborating with Director or above leadership

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vendor Mgt experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$102,200 - $140,700 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
